Last month I got an opportunity to attend National Achievers 2017 conference
where world's leading experts and top inspirational speakers in areas
such as personal life, business, finances and health shared insights and
experience which were of great value.I have to thank my friend who called me day before the event to enquire if I was willing to attend the conference - considering my interests and passion in these fields, even before any further details were shared I told that I am in !
Also had the humble privilege of hearing one of my favorite author Brian tracy whose books I liked, and yes it was on my check list to hear him live, now it is ticked off
Here are few points which I would like to share with you:
1) It is your job to share/ talk/post/promote your interests/passions to those around you and yes you have to DIY and these things would be remembered by other at times when you least expect them to work for you
2) And yes networking helps - BIG Time! This friend who invited me is no ways associated either at work or from network of friends I already had , it was a meeting which we had once but I did stay in touch and helped whenever I could
3) Maintain communication not with an intent to gain something but do it because you are genuinely interested in helping others, it will remembered and rewarded you.
4) You have to invest time into yourself! - Yes, it was on a full day conference over the weekend
